EPIC Family Scholarship Enrollment Now Open!

Hello there EGEG Employees, the Emet Global EPIC Family Scholarship is now open for applications.

What is EPIC Family Scholarship

EPIC Family Scholarship is an annual opportunity for employees of Emet Global Education group to impact the lives of their loved ones. Each year EGEG gives away 5 full scholarships to qualified family members of Emet Global Education Group including all subsidiaries of EGEG. The EPIC Family scholarship is granted to family members of employees employed with Emet Global Education Group for a minimum of 15 consecutive months of employment at Emet Global for hourly employees and 12 consecutive months of employment at Emet Global for salaried, executive, and corporate employees following their employment or re-employment date. This scholarship cannot be utilized by current or former employees of Emet Global Education Group for their own education or tuition.

Open Enrollment Period

Each year there is an application period that begins May 1st, through June 30th, and again from December 1st, through January 31st. The family of Sponsoring Employees will have until the end of the enrollment period to complete their application for each enrollment period.

Open and Closed Application Period

Applications are reviewed and approved on a continuous basis until all ten scholarships have been awarded or the scholarship application period has expired, whichever comes first. The application deadline for May open enrollment is June 30th and December’s application deadline is January 31st of the new year. All application approval will be completed by July 15th for the May open date and February 15th for the December open date.

Family Member Terms

Employees are only allowed to nominate one family member annually to apply and are only entitled to one approved scholarship for a family member every 3 years. The employee’s waiting period ends on the last day of the last month of the year following the three-year anniversary date of approval. (e.g. Scholarship approved on June 1st, 2019; the next time an employee can sponsor a family would be January 1st, 2023). The following family members can be sponsored and submit an application:

Legally proven to be a Sister

Legally proven to be a Brother

Legally proven to be a Married Husband

Legally proven to be a Married Wife

Legally proven to be a Step Brother

Legally proven to be a Step Sister

Legal or proven to be a biological Mother

Legal or proven to be a biological Father

Legal or proven to be a biological Son

Legal or proven to be a biological Daughter

Program Enrollment Terms.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older

Have graduated high school or earn a GED.

Have the ability to complete classes online

Must be able to enroll within 14 days of receiving the scholarship approval.

Scholarship cannot be used in combination with any other tuition option except for SIPO (Self Investment Payment Option).

The scholarship does not cover books, supplies, and resources.

Students will be responsible for costs associated with repeat classes.

A student may lose their scholarship if they student has fallen behind on their attendance. The student is expected to be on-tract at least 80% of the time.

Awardees must achieve a “C” or greater in each course to maintain their scholarship.

Scholarship Amount

The maximum scholarship amount for 2023 is $3000.00. This amount can only be used towards the cost associated with the tuition part of the student’s program cost only. No credit can be applied.
